Do I have to be staying at Jamaica Beach RV Resort?
No. The fleet is based inside the resort and resort guests love the convenience, but anyone can rent. Book online, drive to the resort at 17200 Termini-San Luis Pass Rd and pick up your cart at the office.
Who is allowed to drive?
Any driver with a valid driver's license. The renter signing for the cart must be 21 or older. Unlicensed teens cannot drive, even inside the resort.
Where can I take the cart?
Anywhere inside Jamaica Beach RV Resort. The cart stays on the property: no public streets, no FM 3005, no beach and no dunes. The full rundown is on the Rules & Safety page.
Is there a deposit?
No. $100 a day is the full price. We do not hold a deposit.
What if it rains?
Carts have roofs and Texas rain usually passes. If weather shuts your day down completely, call us and we will work with you on rescheduling, we live here too and we know how the gulf behaves.
Do I need to charge it?
Day rentals, no, it goes out full and a full charge outlasts the day. Multi-day rentals get the charger and a quick lesson, plug in overnight at your site.
How many people fit?
Four. Every person gets a belt. Lap kids do not ride.
Can I take it to The Strand or the seawall?
Not by cart. The cart stays inside the resort. Drive your car up island for the Strand day and keep the cart for getting around the property. Our Island Guide covers what is worth the drive.
Can I book for the same day?
If the calendar shows a cart, it is really available, same day included. Booking online takes about two minutes and confirms instantly.
What about cancellations?
Plans change on vacation, we get it. Call or email as soon as you know and we will move or cancel the reservation. Weather cancellations are always worked out.
