Short version: drive it like a car, park it like a bike, keep it inside the resort. Here is the long version.
To rent a cart
21 to rent
The renter signing for the cart must be 21 or older with a valid driver's license and a payment card.
Licensed drivers only
Anyone behind the wheel needs a valid driver's license. No exceptions for teenagers, ever.
Everyone buckled
Seatbelts for every rider, kids included. Carts only carry as many people as there are belts.
Where you can drive
Our carts are for use inside Jamaica Beach RV Resort. They do not go on public streets, the highway or the beach, and we go over the boundaries again at pickup.
- Resort grounds only. The cart stays inside Jamaica Beach RV Resort, on the resort roads and loops.
- No public streets. The cart does not leave the property, and it never rides along FM 3005 / Termini-San Luis Pass Road.
- No beaches. Carts stay off the sand and the dunes. Park at your site and walk over to the beach.
- Roads only. Keep to the resort roads, not the sidewalks.
- Daylight rules. Take it easy at dusk, use the lights, and remember the cart tops out at neighborhood speed by design.
While it is yours
Weather
Gulf storms move fast. If the sky turns, park it and wait it out. Rain is fine, standing water is not.
Charging
Overnight rentals get the charger. Plug in at your site each evening and the cart never thinks about range.
Parking
Off the road, out of the dune vegetation, not blocking a beach access. Driveways and marked spots are fair game.

Flat, warning light, weird noise? Call (409) 632-0200 and we come to you. Do not wrench on it yourself.
