Where the cart goes
The cart is for Jamaica Beach RV Resort itself: the loops, the pool, the office, your site. Everything else below is a short drive from the gate.
Around the resort
Slow loops past the sites, the pool and the office. This is the ride you will do twice a day without noticing.
Beach access
The sand is across the road from the resort. Park the cart at your site and walk over. A few minutes, door to water.
The city park
Jamaica Beach City Park, a quick drive up the road, has the playground, the pavilion and room for the kids to burn off the last of the snow cone.
Errand duty
Ice, towels, the forgotten sunscreen. Inside the resort, the cart turns every errand into the best part of the day.
Worth the drive
Galveston proper is 25 to 35 minutes up the island by car. Park the cart, take the truck and make a day of it.
The Strand
Iron-front buildings from the 1800s, souvenir taffy pulled in the window, museums and enough restaurants to argue about. Give it an afternoon and finish with the harbor tour.
